1867–The South Side Railroad is extended to Pearsall’s Corners.
1894–Pearsall’s is renamed Lynbrook (Brooklyn with syllables transposed). A name invented by Thomas Brennan, the Long Island RR station master.
1910–Electrification reaches Lynbrook.
1938–The tracks are elevated.
Erected 1992 by Lynbrook Historical Committee.
