Cansignorio della Scala, podestΰ e capitano del popolo dal 14 dicembre 1359 al 19 ottobre 1375, in cui morμ, costruμ e abitς questo palazzo, rimutato nel secolo XVI a stanza del Capitano Veneto.

English Translation:
Cansignorio della Scala, podestΰ and captain of the people from December 14, 1359 to October 19, 1375, the date of his death, built and lived in this palace, which was later transformed in the 16th century into the residence of the Venetian Captain.
