Inscription. Alice Gilstrap Ewalt
Alice Morning Gilstrap was born Mar. 22, 1862 at Bloomington, Il. One of eight children born to David Wilson Gilstrap and Permelia Frances Stillwell. The family moved to Texas and she married John Francis Ewalt on Sept. 5, 1886. Children of that union were: Myrtle Gird 1887-1977. Teacher and homemaker. Married Cecil Barton. Beulah Maude 1889-1983. Homemaker and food service superviser. Married Lute Smith. William Dunkley 1891-1957. Security guard and farmer. Married Effie McCurdy. Dona Curilla 1893-1984. An R.N. unmarried. Johnie Frances 1900- . Homemaker and community worker married Frank Simth. Alice was a member of the Christian Church and an Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and a midwife, assisting in the birth of many babies. She ministered to the sick and needy. She died at Lone Wolf, Apr. 7, 1926. She and her husband, John, are buried in the Lone Wolf Cemetery.

Fannie Massad Moses
Born 1880 in Marjayoun, Lebanon to Abousaida & Deliah Massad; eldest of two children. Married at sixteen to Charlie Shaheed Moses. She waited in Lebanon as her husband prepared a new home and life for them in America. In 1904 she set sail with her four year old son, Willie. They landed at Ellis Island, joined her husband at Illinois & then moved to Oklahoma City. Thеу saved enough money to travel west in 1906 & purchased a farm 3½ mi. NW of Brinkman. It was here that she was able to devote her attention to her real love, her husband, two sons and four daughters. This love spans generations including fourteen grandchildren & twentyseven great-grandchildren. She left her mark on Greer County, delivering many children born in this community. This loving lady died in April 1941 at home and is buried in the family...
