1. Ehre Sei Gott - Glory to God Marker

Inscription. Althougs it's first church building was constructed in 1888, another 17 years passed before the peals of a bell rang out from the tower of Salem Lutheran Church. In 1908, Salem's bell was cast by the Buckeye Bell Foundry in Ohio. The bell hung in the towers of the first three churches before being removed for structural reasons in 1989. This new tower was dedicated to the glory of the triune God on September 24, 2000.

The bells inscription, Ehre Sei Gott - Glory to God, well describes the role the bell serves for Salem congregation summoning Gods people to the divine service.
