À 300 mètres à l’est se trouvait l’aérodrome B-11 de Longues-sur-Mer, opérationnel du 21 juin 1944 au 4 septembre 1944. Au cours de cette période, J. Aubertin, P. Clostermann et J. Remlinger, héros des F.A.F.L., se trouvaient en ce lieu au sein du Squadron 602 “City of Glasgow”. Unités également présentes : Squadron 132 “City of Bombay”, Squadron 453 RAAF, Squadron 441 RCAF.
Three hundred meters to the east was the B-11 airfield at Longues-sur-Mer, operational from June 21, 1944 to September 4, 1944. During this period, J. Aubertin, P. Clostermann, and J. Remlinger, heroes of the Free French Air Forces (F.A.F.L.), were stationed here with No. 602 Squadron “City of Glasgow.” Also present were No. 132 Squadron “City of Bombay,” No. 453 Squadron (RAAF), and No. 441 Squadron (RCAF).
