More about this marker. Original brass markers set into the concrete structure supporting the huge Chines Jade rock were stolen in about 2015. The marker sat without identification for 5 years until rededicated in Granite in 2020.

of the original building put up in Chinatown in the 1880's have been torn down. Both the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association hall and the Kong Chow Temple originally sat on the lot now used for customers of Central Fish Company.
