Tollbugata 30 is today part of the Sentralen cultural center, which is owned and operated by the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB. The first floor of the building houses a restaurant and café, and the premises are decorated with contemporary art. The current building was built around 1900 and was designed by architect Ivar Cock. The business building was later used by Christiania Sparebank, and from 1926 by Oslo Sparebank. The building has large window surfaces with smaller round-arched windows on the upper floor. On

the outside of the supporting structures between the windows is white, glazed brick. The anchor irons from the old two-story building that was demolished in 1899 are built into the facade. The anchor irons point back to Kvadraturen's first century, and you can read “GUD WÆRE 1689 MED OS”.
