Inscription.  French:
Autrefois l'activité du bourg était concentrée autour de l'église et de la mairie-école dans la rue principale qui comptait aussi une épicerie et un café. Dans cette même rue on ne comptait pas moins de trois fermes qui faisaient vivre bon nombre d'ouvriers agricoles.

L'artisanat était aussi très présent dans le village et procurait beaucoup de services aux habitants un boucher, un cordonnier, un maréchal-ferrant.... Mais le village comptait aussi entre autres un chaudronnier, un maçon, un bourrelier, un meunier...., ces différents métiers qui faisaient l'activité du village autrefois ont aujourd'hui disparu.

Village life used to be centred on the church and the townhall/school building on the main street, on which there was also a grocer's and a café. On this same road there were no less than three farms, which employed a large number of farmworkers.

craft industry in the village, which provided many services to the villagers; a butcher, a cobbler and a blacksmith. There were also several other tradespeople, such as a boiler-maker, a builder, a saddler, and a miller. These various trades were the main businesses in the village in former times, but they have now ceased to exist.
