We, the living, dedicate the trees on this campus in memory of the former students of Woodruff High School who gave their lives in defense of their country.

Regarding Memorial Trees. The building was Woodruff High School from 1937 to 2010. It was then converted to a vocational school, retaining the Woodruff name. The high school's most famous alumnus was, arguably, musician Dan Fogelberg, who graduated in 1969. Abingdon Street is also named the "Dan Fogelberg Parkway".
