Army Staff Sgt.
Michael H. Ollis
SSG Michael Ollis was KIA on August 28, 2013 in Ghazani, Afghanistan.
He saved the life of a wounded Polish soldier by shielding him from an insurgent wearing a suicide vest.
For his heroic action, SSG Ollis has been awarded the Distinguished Service Cross.
