Montrose is the most filmed location in the city of Glendale, with television shows and movies shot here regularly, including "NCIS Los Angeles", "Sons of Anarchy," "Gilmore Girls," "Seventh Heaven," "Columbo," "Magnum P.I.," "The Wedding Singer," & Clint Eastwood's "Jersey Boys", "Gun Crazy" (1949) contains one of the most unique shots in all film noir: a three and a half minute, continuous-take of the lead characters robbing a bank in Montrose, all shot from inside their car. In "Old School" (2003) Will Ferrell streaked naked down the center of Honolulu Ave.
