| | Historic Montrose - Est. 1913 | |
Faye Snow owned several businesses in Montrose, all specializing in women's apparel. At one point, she lived in a second story apartment here, above two of her stores. When the 1971 Sylmar earthquake destroyed the building, she replaced it with a large Faye's store. After Faye's death in 1980, her niece Pat Grant consolidated the stores into one. Montrose Travel (established in 1953) took over this space in 1999 and added the "secret garden" topiary at the rear of the parking lot.
Erected by Montrose Shopping Park Association, Historical Society of the Crescenta Valley, and Boy Scout Troop 317.
