An original artwork commissioned by and in the public art collection of the City of Hagerstown.
"I grew up in the era of heroic manufacturing, and long-lasting products, which today are often castoffs. I find beauty in the common places and the neglected remain, scraped off the floor of the earth, fragments of once beautiful objects, utilitarian and functional, whimsical and strange. Through composition and arrangement, I bring them a new life that challenges the viewer to dive into the history of the fragments, or their own personal history."
