Ramen 1-3
Patrician houses, built in the mid-18th century on the site of a temple of the Contra-Remonstrants and an orphanage for the poor; later the Dutch West India Company Chamber; subsequently converted into a residence for various regent families. After around 1870, it was used as a school building and from 1925 to 1929 also as a mission house. The doorway features rococo carvings. Restored by the Stichting Stadsherstel Hoorn (Hoorn City Restoration Foundation), 1982-1983.
