1. McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II Marker

Inscription. The McDonnell Douglas F-4phantom was a multi-service, multi-role aircraft that served as the primary fighter bomber for the Air Force, Navy and Marines during the latter part of the Vietnam era carrying a crew made up of a pilot and weapons systems officer.
The F-4 was capable of speeds in excess of Mach 2. The Phantom was based at Luke AFB from 1971 until 1982, and 3,147 graduates were produced by the F-4 program here.
