1. North American F-100C Super Sabre Marker

Inscription. The F-100 Super Sabre first flew in May 1953 and was the first USAF operational fighter capable of supersonic speed in level flight. The Super Sabre was produced in A, C D and F models. The F-100C/D/F served at Luke AFB from October 1957 - August 1971. During that period, eight different squadrons in three different wings flew the aircraft. Their combined efforts produced 3,451 graduates from F-100 training.
