Los Portales de Toluca
El 6 de febrero de 1832 el C. Jose Ma González Arratia inicio la construcción de dos portales y los terminó en 1836. En febrero de 1870 Fray Buenaventura Merlin edificó 27 arcos de este portal y los concluyó en 1879. Del 16 de septiembre al 20 de noviembre de 1917 el H. Ayuntamiento Constitucional hizo los últimos 11 arcos por iniciativa del presidente municipal C. Eduardo González Pichardo cerrando la última clave el C. Gobernador del Estado General Agustin Millan
On February 6, 1832, Mr. Jose Ma. González Arratia began the construction of two arcades and completed them in 1836. In February 1870, Friar Buenaventura Merlin built 27 arches of this arcade and finished them in 1879. From September 16 to November 20, 1917, the Constitutional City Council built the last 11 arches at the initiative of the municipal president, Mr. Eduardo González Pichardo, with the final keystone being placed by the Governor of the State, General Agustín Millán.
