Isa sa apat na mga Simbahang Baroque ng Pilipinas na itinala noong 1993 sa Talaan ng Pandaigdigang Pamana, alinsunod sa Kumbensyon Ukol sa Pangangalaga ng Pandaigdigang Pamanang Pangkultura at Pangkalikasan.

Taglay ng Simbahan ng San Agustin sa Intramuros, Lungsod ng Maynila ang Natatanging Kahalagahang Unibersal na nararapat na pangalagaan para sa kapakinabangan ng buong sangkatauhan.

Ang paglalapat ng panandang ito ay bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Pilipinas ng ika-50 na Anibersaryo ng Kumbensyon ng Pandaigdigang Pamana, na pinagtibay ng Pangkalahatang Kapulungan ng UNESCO noong 16 Nobyembre 1972.

One of the four Baroque Churches of the Philippines inscribed in 1993 on the World Heritage List, pursuant to the Convention Concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

The San Agustin Church in Intramuros, City of Manila possesses and Outstanding Universal Value that deserves protection for the benefit of all humanity.

This marker installation is part of the Philippine celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, which was adopted by the General Conference of UNESCO on 16 November 1972.
