Wilhelm Karl Königswarter (born March 4, 1809, in Fürth; died May 15, 1887, in Merano) was a German philanthropist and an honorary citizen of Fürth.

Life: Wilhelm Karl Königswarter, a member of the Königswarter family, established several foundations in memory of his parents after the death of his father, the Fürth banker Simon Königswarter; first, the Simon Königswarter Foundation on July 28, 1855, and the Elisabeth Königswarter Foundation on January 23, 1856. The Königswarter Foundation supported, among other things, the construction of the Merano Synagogue.
