An infantryman from Fort Drum, N.Y. has died from combat injuries after his unit was attacked by small-arms fire in Pul-e-Alam, Logar province, Afghanistan, the Defense Department has reported. Spc. Kerry M. G. Danyluk, 27, of Cuero, Texas, died Tuesday at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany.
