Regarding Torquay - Outram School Districts. During Saskatchewan's ambitious settlement program in the early 1900s, these rural schoolhouses were built out individually, as settlement in each area reached sufficient numbers to justify a school. For example,
- Tenold school started as an application to create a school district in 1904; school probably opened 1905.
- The Brown school district formed 1905, school probably opened 1906.
- The Marienthal school opened in 1924.
