Palacios is for the Birds
| | Hotel Fence Wrap Exhibit Walk | |
Birds are counted all across the country each year during the Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Since we began in 1992, Matagorda County has regularly recorded more species than anywhere else in the country. While it's not a competition, we almost always come out on top!
The Hotel has been a proud participant in the Matagorda Bay Birdfest since its inception in 2017.
Erected by Palacios Preservation Association. (Marker Number 26.)
