Inscription.
From 1909-1980s Atlanta High School proudly stood in Atlanta, only closing its doors when Atlanta Community Unit School District #16 consolidated with the Olympia Community Unit School District #16. The demolition of the school occurred in the 1980s, with only the cornerstone you see and the clock in the tower across the street still remaining.
