1. Zum Blauen Löwen / At the Blue Lion Marker
Das Anwesen wurde 1570 erstmals erwähnt. Wann die Gastwirtschaft eingerichtet wurde, ist nicht überliefert. Bis 1666 war es in jüdischem Besitz und in dieser Zeit sicherlich kein Wirtshaus.
1835 erwarb das Anwesen der Pferdehändler Johann Schnelbögl. In einem Wegweiser für Touristen, erschienen im März 1897, wirbt Konrad Schnelbögl für sein best renommiertes Gasthaus mit Fremdenzimmern. Ab 1903 war Wolfgang Schnelbögl Besitzer des „Blauen Löwen“. In den 20er Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts war er auch Schnaittacher Bürgermeister. Seine Gastwirtschaft war viele Jahre ein Mittelpunkt im öffentlichen Leben Schnaittachs. Wichtige Ereignisse wurden hier gefeiert, wie z. B. die Einweihung der evangelischen Kirche 1892. Viele Schnaittacher Vereine wurden hier gegründet und manche kommunalpolitische Entscheidung vorbereitet. Auch war es ein beliebter Treffpunkt Schnaittacher Schüler und Studenten in ihrer Freizeit. 1939 wurde die Wirtschaft geschlossen.
Im September 1981 musste das ziemlich abgewirtschaftete Gebäude einem Neubau weichen.

The property was first mentioned in 1570. When the inn was established is not recorded. Until 1666 it was in Jewish ownership and during that time certainly not an inn. In 1835 the horse trader Johann Schnelbögl acquired the property. In a tourist guide published in March 1897, Konrad Schnelbögl advertises his highly reputable inn with guest rooms. From 1903 onward, Wolfgang Schnelbögl was the owner of the “Blue Lion.” In the 1920s he also served as mayor of Schnaittach.
For many years, his inn was a center of public life in Schnaittach. Important events were celebrated here, such as the dedication of the Protestant church in 1892. Many Schnaittach associations were founded here, and some municipal political decisions were prepared. It was also a popular meeting place for Schnaittach pupils and students in their free time. The inn was closed in 1939.
In September 1981, the rather run-down building had to make way for a new construction.
