1. Der Sternwirt / The Star Innkeeper Marker
Fast 100 Jahre lang, nämlich von 1512–1603, waren Mitglieder der fränkischen Adelsfamilie, der Stieber von Buttenheim, im Besitz dieses imposanten Gebäudes, das sie in ihrer Eigenschaft als Rothenberger Burggrafen zeitweise als Wohnhaus wie als Amtsgebäude benutzten.
1750 wird ein Johann Konrad Ziegler als Besitzer genannt. 1837 wird mit Johann Ziegler erstmals ein Sternwirt genannt. Es gab auch eine Metzgerei, die 1860 aufgegeben wurde. Die Nachkommen von Johann Konrad Ziegler waren bis 1921 auf dem Anwesen. In diesem Jahr heiratete Anna Ziegler den Georg Falkner vom benachbarten Paulesen-Hof. Durch diese Heirat kamen die beiden Höfe zusammen.

For almost 100 years, namely from 1512 to 1603, members of the Franconian noble family Stieber von Buttenheim owned this imposing building, which they used at times as both a residence and an administrative building in their capacity as burgraves of Rothenberg.
In 1750 a Johann Konrad Ziegler is named as owner. In 1837 Johann Ziegler is mentioned for the first time as an innkeeper of the “Stern.” There was also a butcher shop, which was closed in 1860.
The descendants of Johann Konrad Ziegler remained on the property until 1921. In that year Anna Ziegler married Georg Falkner from the neighboring Paulesen farm. Through this marriage the two farms were united.
