John Maurich
1885? - 1924 John Maurich was reported to have been 39 years old at the time of his death in the flooding of the Milford Mine, although records do not indicate his exact date of birth. John had worked at mines on the Cuyuna Iron Range for several years, and married Margaret Cencic. They lived in Crosby with their six children, two boys and four girls. At the time of the Milford Mine disaster Margaret was 42 years old. Their children were 14, 12, 10, 8, 2 and 4 months old. John Maurich was laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.

Ronald McDonald
1892 - 1924 Ronald McDonald was born in Denny, Scotland and came to the United States in 1923 to work as a mining engineer at the Milford Mine. Ronald married Christina McLeod in Scotland and they had a three year old daughter. Christina and her daughter had booked passage on a ship to the United States and were set to sail when they received the news of Ronald's death at the Milford Mine. Ronald McDonald was laid to rest at the Clan Stewart Plot in Forest Hill Cemetery in Duluth, Minnesota.

in Austria and worked as a miner on the Cuyuna Range for several years. John's sister Annie was married to fellow miner Mike Tonac. John was single, and lived in the nearby town of Manganese. He was 27 years old at the time of the Milford Mine disaster. John Minerich was laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.

Arthur B. Myhres
1896 - 1924 Arthur Myhres was born in Montreal, Wisconsin. After serving in the 1st World War he moved to the Cuyuna Iron Range, where he worked at the Croft and Meachum Mines before he began his work at the Milford Mine. Arthur was single and lived in Crosby. He was 27 years old when he lost his life in the Milford Mine flood. Arthur Myhres was laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.
