[English translation:]
The Old City Hall of Carolina, designed in the early 20th century by Puerto Rican architect Rafael Carmoega, stands as a key piece of the noble historical heritage inherited from past generations.

Over time, it underwent two restorations—in 1992 and again in 2011. Along with the five adjacent buildings that comprise the Historic-Cultural District, it will serve a vital new role as a beacon and sentinel for the cultural movement in this Land of Giants. - René Acosta, Architects

Erected 2011 by José Carlos Aponte Dalmau, Alcalde [Mayor].
