1. Harris Cottage Marker
Inscription. This home was built by William Harris in Georgestown - the city's earliest suburb-beyond the reach of the citywide fires of 1846 and 1892. Harris and his son William were carpenters who erected many nearby homes. Hon. John Harris, who found political success as President of the Legislative Council, also lived here.
