This building was built in 1856 as a hotel by John B. Hubbell who was one of the founders of Mantorville.

It replaced the original log Hubbell House built in 1854, the year Mantorville was incorporated.

Erected 1998 by the Hubbell Family Historical Society founded here on September 15, 1981.
