1. Robinson-Rose Building Marker
Inscription.
1853 · Two-story adobe with an upper-level balcony built by James W. Robinson for his residence and law office.
1857 · After Robinson's death in this year, the building developed into the town's commercial seat, housing the San Diego Herald newspaper, the Wells Fargo office, and other businesses.
1868 · Bought by Louis Rose for his multiple businesses and residence.
1989 · Reconstructed by California State Parks.
