Regarding Town Hall. Per the National Register Nomination Form:
The three buildings [Town Hall and the Rarey-Giehl and Faulhaber-Fornshell Residences] are well preserved examples of Nineteenth Century domestic and commercial architecture in Groveport. They form a visually cohesive unit on on important corner in town.
The two residences have been well maintained through the years. The Town Hall has played a significant role in the development of the village. It has been a center for governmental and community activities since its construction. The township and village were recently granted money to begin restoration work on the Town Hall. This restoration will insure the preservation of the Town Hall as both a center of activity and visual landmark in Groveport. [The Town Hall has served as a local heritage museum for decades]
