Inscription.
The Guilford Courthouse Flag is a military banner which reportedly flew at the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. Recognized by the reverse colors from the American flag during the Revolution. Soldiers carried flags featuring common American symbols but making them identifiable as a company or regimental flag. The original flag has been preserved since 1914 at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh.
