English Translation:
To the comrades of the Nuremberg home regiment who fell or went missing in the war of 1939–1945, in honorable remembrance; for the living, as a solemn reminder.
 
Erected 1966 by Regimental Comrades Association of I.R. 21, “The Twenty-Oners (Association)”.
