Inscription. Built 1854 for Josiah Blackburn's "London Free Press"; served as the Queen's Hotel 1871- 1920; became William Weld's "Farmer's Advocate" 1921-1965; opened 1974 as the Marienbad Restaurant.
 
Erected 1990 by London Public Library Board.
