In 1947, Bing Crosby brought to Pebble Beach the original Pro-Am tournament, which pairs celebrity entertainers, athletes, and business leaders with the greatest professional golfers from around the world. Affectionately known then as the "Crosby Clambake," the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is one of the longest-running events on the PGA Tour. This plaque is dedicated to all those who have enabled this great event to raise tens of millions of dollars for a wide variety of worthwhile charitable organizations.
