The Nags Head
A Public House called The Nags Head has occupied this spot since 1670. The current grade II listed building was rebuilt in 1900. McMullen & Sons Ltd, the Independent Hertfordshire Brewers purchased The Nags Head in 1927 for the then princely sum of £7,525. Traditional McMullen ales are still brewed in Hertfordshire at the original brewery using local malt and whole hops.

Located right at the heart of Londons Covent Garden, opposite the London Underground tube, the Nags has been a McMullen pub since 1927. A public house called The Nags Head has occupied 10 James Street since at least the 1670s. The current building is an example of Neo-Jacobean pub architecture (P. E.
