… Henry Broadwood was indeed to prove his most useful friend in London.… Broadwood arranged two semi-public concerts for Chopin, to bring in much-needed revenue: at Mrs Sartoris’s house, 99 Eaton Place on June 23rd, and at Lord Falmouth’s house in St James’s Square on July 7th.… These two concerts netted Chopin £300.…
