First Church In Sidney
In 1808 The First Congregational Church of Sidney originally named The First Church of Christ, was opened to serve the spiritual, educational and social needs of the community. There were baptisms, weddings, memorial services as well as bake sales, picnics, and ice cream socials.
At the end of 2019 the church elected to close its doors due to the changing times of our society. The memories and close friendships that were created here will live on in the hearts and minds of the people that found solace and joy inside in walls and halls for more than two hundred years.
