La Casa de Machado y Wrightington
1830s · Adobe built by family of Juana de Dios Machado.
1842 · Juana, a midwife or partera, married Thomas Wrightington, a shoemaker. She lived here for over fifty years caring for the sick and serving the Catholic Church.
1858 · Utilized as an office by George W. McKinstry, dentist, physician, and sheriff of San Diego.
1985 · Reconstructed by California State Parks.
