1. The Alden J. Klein House Marker
This austere Georgian design is constructed of red face brick, a mansard-type slate roof, and features the original shutters and spandrel panels flanking the first floor windows. This home replaced an earlier Victorian era frame house on the same site and is purported to have included a third floor in its original design, which was never executed.
This project was completed by the Blue Island Historic Preservation Commission.
