1. Nina Roberts Van Kleeck House Marker
Nina Roberts Van Kleeck came to Lynn Haven in 1912 with her father L.J. Roberts, mother, brother and sister from Idaho. She and Roy Van Kleeck married shortly thereafter. The property was purchased in April and construction of this lovely home began. The Van Kleeck Hardware Store surely supplied most of the materials. The house passed into other hands in late 1918 and additional lots were added to the property site. The Sponenburgs purchased the property in 1929 and lived in the home for fifteen years, but it is best remembered as the Welden Home for the 55 years it was occupied by Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Welden. It has always been one of old Lynn Haven's prettiest houses. It is a reminder of the era when neighbors waving to each other from sidewalks and front porches was a part of daily lives.

Excerpt: Lynn Haven was founded in 1911 by Union veterans from the American Civil War. The town was named after W. H.
