1. James Daniels' Cabin Marker
Inscription. Many of Allen County community's most important early meetings were held in the cabin of James Daniels before the construction of the first courthouse in Lima. The cabin, which stood near the present path of Market Street, was where the name "Lima” was selected at a meeting held in 1831.
