1. Encore Theatre Marker

Inscription. The Encore Theatre serves as a testament to years of dedication to the arts in Lima. Its history began with Lima's Amil Tellers of Dramatics, Inc., who performed everywhere from churches to a modest carriage house called "Stable Gables." In 1958, a generous donation by Homer Reeder led to the building of the Encore Theatre.

Today, the Encore Theatre stands out as Allen County's only community theatre that owns its own performance facility, allowing it to consistently produce shows for both youth and adults year after year. It continues to serve as a vibrant educational and cultural outlet, fostering theatre arts and mentorship across generations.
