1. Interurban Railway Marker
Inscription. The interurban railway was an electric railway that was operated by the Scioto Valley Traction Company and provided service from Obetz Junction to Lancaster. The railway service was maintained until improved roads and affordable automobiles made the railway obsolete. The third rail provided electricity to the trollies on the line.
