1. Artspace/Lima Marker

Inscription. For more than 70 years, ArtSpace/Lima has stood as a vibrant cultural cornerstone in the heart of downtown, enriching our community through creativity and connection. Founded in 1955 as the Lima Art Association, it began as a small collective of local artists and patrons to foster creativity and the arts in Lima. As the organization grew over the years, it expanded into the historic 1870 Thompson Building donated by Cenovus, and rebranded as ArtSpace/Lima.

Today, it offers a dynamic year-round schedule of juried shows, solo exhibitions, and community art events; operates education programs for all ages; and engages in public art projects that connect neighborhoods and celebrate Lima's heritage for generations to come.
