1. 1819 Elm Marker

Inscription. 1819 Elm was home to several businesses including two shoemakers and numerous tenants. Beginning in the early 1900s, it housed the Guarantee Deposit Bank until the mid-1920s. In the early to mid-1900s, 1819 Elm was home to about fifteen families, making it one of the densest and most tenanted buildings in Over-the-Rhine. It sat vacant in the 1990s until it became a landing place for a handful of small businesses, pop up businesses, and even a workforce development restaurant, as they started, grew, and scaled their operations.
