1. 1818-1824 Race Marker

Inscription. Unlike other historic buildings in Over-the-Rhine that housed a few primary businesses over the years, 1818- 1824 Race defy all easy categorizing in that they never sat vacant. These four buildings, each four stories tall, brick and Italianate in design, offered first-floor commercial and retail space to an abundance of businesses, all with high turnover, from the late 1800s through the early 2000s. The block underwent massive renovations beginning in 2017, which brought a handful of businesses, both new and established to Race Street.
