1. 101 West Elder Marker
Inscription. Built in the early 1860s, 101 W. Elder was home to many different commercial buildings such as a grocery store, a dry goods shop, a shoe store, and a 5-cent store. Italian immigrant, Carmine Iacobucci, then purchased the building in 1970 for his Italian grocery store and fresh market. By the early 2000s, Model Group took ownership of the building and renovated it completely, welcoming new businesses into a fresh space 140 years after
