1. 103 West Elder Marker

Inscription. Built in the early 1860s, 103 W. Elder was home to a series of dry goods groceries in the late 1800s and early 1900s. In the 1930s and during World War II, it briefly was a hardware store, a variety store, and a confectionery. From 1966 through the 1980s, Marion's Fine Foods & Bakery Goods, run by Marion Stout, occupied the storefront. The building sat empty until it was purchased by a pilates and yoga studio.
