Stevie Wonder's rise to stardom is a testament to talent and determination. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, in 1950, Wonder displayed musical prowess from an early age, despite being blind since infancy. At 11 years old, he signed with Motown as Little Stevie Wonder. With his breakthrough 1963 hit Fingertips (Pt. 2), he became the youngest artist ever to top the Billboard Hot 100. Throughout the 1960s and 70s, his albums showcased his mastery of various instruments, his pioneering use of synthesizers, and his profound lyrical themes. Stevie Wonder's unique blend of music, combined with his socially conscious messages, solidified his status as a musical legend.

Excerpt: American singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, and is credited as a pioneer and influence by musicians across a range of genres that include R&B, pop, soul, gospel, funk, and jazz. A virtual one-man band during much of his peak years, Wonder's use of synthesizers and other electronic musical instruments in the 1970s reshaped the conventions of contemporary R&B.
